Gemma Hewison, HMCTS

Gemma is the Strategy & Change Director at Her Majesty’s Courts & Tribunals Service, responsible for leading the HMCTS reform programme. By introducing digital processes, services and new ways of working over recent years, we’ve already taken significant steps towards modernising and improving the way our courts and tribunals administer justice.

More recently Gemma has been leading the recovery of the criminal courts in response to the coronavirus pandemic. The need to change not what we do, but how we do it, is more acute now than ever before.
